    The NIO xcel series comprises four devices to cover the whole range of live applications, installations, and studio environments.

    The development goal for the series was to create products which are perfect for the stage and which provide professional connectors and supreme audio specifications. For example, NIO xcel 1201 is equipped with excellent microphone preamps and a 4-way splitter for each microphone input. All NIO xcel models include filters, a mix function, and can be configured very rapidly because of the integrated web service.
  • Web Service Configuration

    Simple and intuitive configuration of the SALZBRENNER NIO xcel devices is possible thanks to their web service. Units connected to the network can easily be named and configured all the way down to filter coefficient settings. Device configurations can be stored, imported, and exported for a considerable reduction of setup time for large installations.
  • Easy Networking

    Naturally, the NIO xcels offer redundancy in Dante™ network connections as well as in their power supplies, and ensure perfect synchronization, even across several switches.

    Dante™ networks are based on conventional IP networks so they can be configured quickly and cost-effectively. An advantage of SALZBRENNER NIO xcel is that the devices can be placed near the musician—similar to a DI box—to provide the necessary inputs and outputs for any situation. Furthermore, they can be effortlessly integrated into the network. All NIO xcel models are equipped with two Ethernet ports to be connected to a redundant network structure or to be daisy chained. They work in networks with 100Mbps, 1Gbps and 10Gbps, and do not require any specific network infrastructure which saves on costs, and facilitates network design as well as handling on tour.

All NIO xcel devices by SALZBRENNER include rubber bumpers in their standard delivery. They protect the devices as well as additional equipment when moving from stage to stage. Furthermore, 19" mounting frames are available, so several devices can be mounted into 19" racks to be easier to handle in big numbers.
